ACES

Welcome Exploratory students!

  • We have provided individual MAPS for all of the major exploration groups to connect your learning with options for EGL programs.
  • Your process should include meeting with your ACES advisor to plan for the best timing of your participation, as well as meeting with your EGL Advisor to discuss program selection, the application process, course alignment and funding options.
  • Take a look at the MAPS for each major exploration group to learn more about your options for programs abroad in a variety of regions, as well as domestic and virtual opportunities.
  • With planning, students can participate in more than one EGL program if desired!
  • Participating in EGL programming can be a tool in building your resume to highlight:
Cross cultural communication skills and cultural competences
Experience with foreign language, internships, project-based and service learning
    Academics and personal development.

Finances are an integral aspect of  your planning process!

  • Your EGL advisor can assist you with selecting a program that utilizes the funding you currently have.
  • Supplement funding with scholarships offered through EGL, nationally and internationally based on your specific circumstances.
  • The earlier you begin planning, the more opportunities you will have for funding your EGL program(s)!
