Experiential Global Learning


Before taking over her current position of coordinator of the state-to-state exchange between Baden-Wuerttemberg and Connecticut and Experiential Global Learning Advisor, Inga Poetzl worked as Program Officer for the German-American Fulbright Commission in Berlin, Germany for over a decade. She was responsible for planning and implementing educational exchange programs for teachers and university administrators. Inga completed a Master’s degree in American Studies and Cultural Studies at the University of Leipzig and spent her senior year abroad at SUNY Binghamton. Inga is working (part-time) on her PhD in American Studies at the University of Connecticut. Her daily work as exchange coordinator includes helping students to identify the host university in Baden-Wuerttemberg which is the best fit to fulfill both their academic goals and also pursue extra-curricular interests. Inga also assists students with internship preparations and applications. In her free-time, she practices martial arts and explores beautiful New England.
