Faculty-led program targeted at students interested in business and economics that includes a course and internship experience for academic credit.

Tuition-Based Program: Tuition-Based Programs charge in-state, New England Regional, and out-of-state UConn tuition rates based on students’ residency. Tuition charges will appear on students’ UConn fee bills, along with other UConn fees as listed on the program’s budget sheet. Students may pay housing through their UConn fee bill or directly to their host university depending on the program.

Semester long program with classes and an internship. FNCE 4305 is generally offered on this program in the spring.

Fudan University
Shanghai, China
Semester and Academic Year exchanges at one of China’s most prestigious institutions of higher learning. A number of Business Core courses have been approved at Fudan.

University of Warwick
Warwick, England
Semester and Academic Year exchanges at one of the top universities in the UK. Warwick offers a number of upper-level Business courses, good for students interested in taking their 3000/4000 level Business courses. It is important to note the University of Warwick operates on trimesters.  

National University of Singapore School of Business
Singapore
Semester and Academic Year exchanges at one of the best universities in the world. A number of Finance courses are approved at NUS already for UConn students.

University of Mannheim Business School
Mannheim, Germany
Semester and Academic Year exchanges at one of the leading academic institutions in Germany and Europe, with a strong multicultural study environment. 

ISA: Semester at the American Business School Paris
Paris, France
This semester long opportunity in Paris provides students an opportunity to take Business related electives abroad in English.

Direct-Bill Programs: Direct-Bill Programs charge students directly for their program costs. Students pay the affiliate program directly for their fees, whereas other UConn fees will appear on students’ UConn fee bills as listed on the program’s budget sheet. Be sure to review the program’s full costs on the provider’s own website. UConn is not responsible for those costs.

University College Dublin Business Program
Dublin, Ireland
Semester and Academic Year options where UConn Business majors can study alongside Irish students at the Quinn School of Business at University College Dublin, one of the top ten business schools in Europe.

University College Dublin Summer Internship
Dublin, Ireland
This summer program provides students with a 6-week internship paired with two weeks of intensive classroom work. Students will receive BADM 4891 credit for their internship, MGMT 4893 credit and a choice of MGMT 4893, OPIM 4893 or BADM 2893 credit for a total of 9 credits.

Reminder: Business students are not required to take major related courses while abroad and we encourage you to explore diverse interests during that time. You can utilize the Program Search to identify other programs of interest. 

Finances are an integral part of the program selection and planning process. Students should research scholarships early to meet application deadlines and request essay feedback from advisors and the Writing Center.
