Summer Interdisciplinary Ethnography Field School in Mauritius
Mauritius, Africa
This program involves students in interdisciplinary research that combines laboratory and field methods, engages them in challenging and diverse learning environments, exposes them to global cultural diversity, and provides opportunities for immersive and experiential learning. The course offered is interdisciplinary and coursework is related to Cultural Anthropology, Social Psychology, Cognitive Science, Religious Studies, and Area Studies (Africa and Indian Ocean).
Summer Mediterranean Diet and Tuscan Cuisine in Florence
Florence, Italy
This program is designed for undergraduate and students with an interest in food, nutrition, dietetics, or other health related fields. Priority will be given to students with at least one undergraduate nutrition, food, or health course. Students will take 2 courses for a total of 6 credits for the session: The History and Culture of Food in the Mediterranean and Italy’s Mediterranean Food and Our Health.
Summer Traditional Chinese Medicine in Beijing
Beijing, China
This program is designed to provide students with the opportunity to study Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) alongside seasoned professionals in the field in the bustling city of Beijing. Although western medicine is practiced in China, you will find that most of these citizens also rely heavily on TCM.

A variety of courses are offered in English in the Humanities and Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Health Sciences, and more. Exchange students are also welcome to apply to a pre-semester Intensive Hebrew Ulpan at an additional cost.

Lund University, a member of Universitas 21, offers a wide variety of courses in English with courses in Anthropology related to Health, as well as courses aligned for MCB and NRE credits at UConn, in addition to academics that will fulfill other plan of study requirements.

Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola in an international university that has an educational model that ensures students’ academic development at national and international level. Students will have full access to all facilities at the university including sports, cultural activities, and artistic workshops. Located at the mouth of the Gulf, only an hour drive from Dubai, RAK is an ideal location for students who want be immersed in Arabic culture yet have easy access to Dubai, white sandy beaches, majestic Hajjar Mountains, expansive desert and sands dunes. Students can select from courses that include Life Science and Biotechnology amongst others.

Taipei, Taiwan
This short-term program offers a Neuroscience Lab Program for natural sciences students.
