Summer Chinese Language & Cultural Immersion in Shanghai
Shanghai, China
Featuring a three-week language and culture course, cultural workshops and field trips in Shanghai, as well as to Suzhou and Hangzhou.

Situated at the mouth of the Yangtze River on China’s east coast, Shanghai’s rapid growth over the last twenty years has made it into a truly global city and a major center for commerce, technology, education, fashion, and the arts in Asia.

One of the top comprehensive research universities in Korea. With 8,000 undergraduate students, it offers courses in Humanities, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Communication, and Law, many of which are taught in English. Sogang is located in Seoul, one of the oldest cities in Korea. Korea provides a particularly advantageous position from which to study the changing culture, economics, and politics of all the nations of the East Asian region. As one of the most rapidly developing countries in the world, Korea has become a model for educational expansion, agricultural reform, family planning, industrial development, and a host of other issues facing the nations of Asia and the world.

Students will study at RMIT University, the first international university in Vietnam. The program offers an opportunity for students to take courses in both Japanese Studies and language, in addition to Asian Studies, while providing a comprehensive array of other academic subjects.

The summer program offers courses that can be taken in English or Chinese in the humanities, natural sciences and social sciences. Students can begin or continue Chinese language study.
Waseda University Summer Session
Tokyo, Japan
The summer program offers small class sizes and academic subjects within the humanities and social sciences. Courses are offered in English and students can study Japanese language.
Yonsei International Summer School
Seoul, South Korea
Students may take two or three 3-credit courses (the typical load is two courses). All courses are taught in English, however participants may qualify to take one course which is conducted in the Korean language. Subjects include Korean Studies, East Asian Studies, Korean Language, Politics Law & Culture, Business and Economics, Science and Engineering.
Finances are an integral part of the program selection and planning process. Research scholarships early to meet application deadlines and request feedback on essays from advisors and the Writing Center.
