As a result of the ongoing global pandemic, and restrictions on foreign travel, the University of Connecticut is cancelling all Summer 2021 Experiential Global Learning programs that require international travel. Instead, Virtual Programs will be offered for this term.

This is extremely disappointing news, and students may have questions about their specific program or situation. Given the difficulty in addressing each unique concern in this communication, your Experiential Global Learning Advisor is available to discuss future options with students. Students are welcome to make an appointment with their Advisor.

In light of this, we encourage students to consider applying for a UConn Summer 2021 Virtual program. The Experiential Global Learning Office is hosting events throughout the next few weeks to provide further information about various available opportunities including Virtual Internships and Programs.
